Costa Palmas in the east cape of Cabo San Lucas Mexico is the home to the Amanvari and Four Seasons Costa Palmas a luxury resort and development controlled by Irongate and it’s owner Jason Grosfeld.
Homeowners were sold a dream vacation home with all the best amenities. Unfortunately stories coming from numerous home buyers what they got was a dream home nightmare with escalating fees and homes that years after buying still are not completed.
Now after 4+ years home buyers who thought they would be moved in by 2021 still do not have a home they can move into and one Mexican national says that she had to redesign her home because it wasnt approved by Costa Palmas and thus didn’t meet the code there. So the team brought forward the new home design which came with new construction costs on a price per square meter basis that was out of her price range and now she is stuck with an empty lot. Meanwhile the Blake hotel named after Jason Grosfelds wifes maiden name is open as well as the Four Seasons Costa Palmas but many home owners are angry that they can’t get a completed home and one of the resolutions offered was to pay even more money for a spec home thats move in ready. Now some are asking if that was part of the plan all along?
Off the record one resident said it seems that he is just always trying to find ways to squeeze more money out of you. Costa Palmas has turned into a nightmare.
